Our Story, Vision & Mission
Our Story
TTS-Agro Cooperative Limited has been named Thamadada-Temke-Silichung Agro Cooperative representing the three mountains spreading from north to south in the mid-eastern part of the country.
The ultimate scope and goal of the organization is to develop, expand and manage the international market and trades dealing with orthodox tea, valuable medicinal aromatic plant (MAP) and other precious cash crops through local resource mobilization and indigenous style of production.
TTS has determined short, mid and long term goals and programs to extend strategic activities like commercial farming, producing and processing of organic orthodox tea and valuable medicinal herbs and aromatic plants (MAP).

Strategic Goals
The key goal of TTS is to enhance the economic prosperity of its members by carrying out commercialized farming, processing & managing market of organic orthodox tea and valuable medicinal herbs and aromatic plants (MAP) and other value-chain cash crops through this cooperative as an engine.
Resource Mobilization
- All members will be encouraged and persuaded for investing resources (money, land, labour, ideas, innovations) as much as possible per the cooperative concept.
- Accuracy and transparency of records and accounts relating to mobilization of investment, share collection, financial control, resource utilization shall be maintained.
- Joint investment and resource mobilization shall be carried out in coordination with government, non-governmental, central cooperatives, foreign investors and organizations.
- A Financial Guidelines shall be developed to adopt and implement these approaches.
Institutional Arrangement
Based on the Statute of the cooperative, a series of Estate, Block and Unit shall be locally constituted in direct Central Committee or Board of Directors to be operational in direct supervision, guidance, direction, control and coordination.
Research, Innovation & Knowledge Management
Eco-Tourism
Arrangements for guided trekking, observation tours of farming plots, nurseries and conservation areas.
Organization of agro-carnivals and events such as Tea Festival, farmer's fete, and agro-tourism festivals.
Development of tourist destinations, cultural centers, agro-museums, home-stay facilities, and traditional markets.
